Types Of Account Offered
They offer two types of account:
- Demat and trading account (2 in 1 account): This account allows you to directly invest in the stock market along with that you can also invest in mutual funds form this account.
- Mutual fund investments account: This account only allows you to invest in mutual funds, but you can’t invest in the stock market directly. Those people who do not get too much time for a stock investment and money management can invest in the mutual fund through this account.
How To Do 5paisa Account Opening Process?
5paisa allows you to open your Demat & trading account fully online using aadhar. In case, if you don’t have aadhar or your aadhar is not registered with your mobile number then you can opt for an offline account opening process.

1. Mobile Number Verification
You’ll receive an OTP to verify the mobile number. The OTP will be valid to login for the next 30 mins. Please check your SMS and use the same OTP for your mobile number verification.
2. Email Verification
Enter the ‘Email’ address or ‘Continue with Google’ for email account to start the KYC verification.
3. Pan Card Verification
Enter your PAN number, D.O.B then after verification your name will be reflected as per PAN card.

The activation process is remarkably swift if you open an account online with 5paisa. Once your documents undergo successful verification and the e-sign process is completed, your account will be activated within 72 hours. Once you have filled all the details, you can review the complete form and sign the form digitally. Your application process will be complete. If you do not have an Aadhar physical signature will be required.
